I know this is a day late, but not a dollar short. The weekends get crazy, but here we are with another edition of the Rotation! This week we got new goodies from some of my favorites. If you are searching for new music look no further.
Welcome back to another edition of the Rotation. This week was a more quiet week in music in terms of albums and EP, but we still were able to get some goods out from the featured singles. So let’s get into it, shall we?
This week on The Intersection we are talking about purpose with our guest, writer, educator, show host, and so much more, Lourdes Anita. Lourdes has dedicated this year and her entire brand to focusing on her purpose and sharing the stories of others doing the same.
Welcome back to The Intersection podcast! On this weeks episode I talked with my guest, Dr. Anica, about intent versus impact and her event, Race Talks with Dr. Anica, happening this Saturday, July 13th, at the Langston Hughes House.
We are back with another episode of The Intersection. I got to sit down with my friends Alto and Kendolyn and talk about black music month and all things black black girl magic. We explore our favorite old school artists and new school.
This week’s episode honors Pride month and is all about going deeper into self- exploration. I am joined by the brilliant, Brittany Bellinger, who unpacks her process of self-exploration, specifically during the Saturn Return. If you don’t know what that is, that is okay Brittany explains it. She also gives us a peek into what means to heal and grow into your identity.
We are back for another episode of The Intersection Podcast and it is a deep one y’all! I’m so excited to have the talented poet and co-host of the So Story Podcast, Christina Utley, on this weeks episode talking about self censorship and vulnerability. We talk about all the things on this weeks episode such as holding ourselves back, connecting, being different or other, healing, and speaking your truth. It is honest and I hope you enjoy it. Go check out Christina’s personal writing on her Instagram and her blog Christina from the Midwest as well.
Oh my goodness y’all!! It’s Season 3 of The Intersection! We in here! I’m super excited to give you a new episode from the heart. All about acknowledging and working through your valleys even when you don’t want to. I also share some things to look forward to and some of my favorites.
Y’all we made it!! We are here at the finale and the one year anniversary of this podcast, and I’m so thankful to all of you for hanging out and listening to season 2! This week I bring back my girl and former co-host Lauren to hang out and reflect how we’ve both grown this past year. If you are in the middle of your reflection season hopefully this encourages you.
This week I reflect on a huge moment for me, my first event Culture and Connections event. It was a success! I talk through what it was like to realize that my community was a big part of why it came to be and why I enjoyed it so much. Community can change everything, find your people.
In this week's episode, I talk about so many movies, the past 2 weeks in America, and how I am overcoming doubt in the midst of starting things like my new event series, Culture and Connections. Shameless plug, if you are in NYC, you should come hang out with me!
This week I talk about new hobbies, my favorites from this year’s freshman class in music, voting, and the covenant we have with ourselves before getting in a relationship. So you don’t want to miss it!
